National Health Protection Profiles
The Health Protection Profile covers a range of health protection issues, with information on various infections, but also interventions to prevent infection such as immunisation. They have been created with the public in mind, so that people can find out more about the areas that they live and work in. The information can help improve awareness of local health protection risks. However, they should also be of use to professionals who work on health protection matters locally, including Local Authorities and Health Protection Teams.
The data is grouped into topic area domains. Some indicators have upper tier local authority (counties and unitary authorities), lower tier local authority (districts and unitary authorities) and PHE / UKHSA Centre level data. However, for other indicators data is not available at PHE Centre or unitary level (e.g. immunisation data).
