Covid-19 Stories

Investigating the impact of COVID-19 on local communities within East Sussex, April 2021

The University of Brighton carried out semi-structured interviews with a number of residents of East Sussex to gain a better understanding of the effects of the pandemic.

People interviewed included: single parents with young children; young people having just left college (18+); those shielding; those furloughed or unemployed; and people living in temporary accommodation. Ten case studies illustrate the psychosocial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic across a range of individuals and circumstances.
